1. Get back things you lose: add a sticker with your name and phone number
I recently forgot my laptop on a flight from SFO. Luckily, I usually stick a label with my name and phone number just in case I lose something. A few hours after landing I got a call… It’s amazing how honest and helping people are if you let them know how. :).
2. Reveal saved passwords using Chrome’s Inspect tool
You know those saved passwords that are ‘hidden?’ You can easily reveal the password by right clicking the hidden password (like *****) in Chrome, selecting Inspect, and then changing the type=”Password” field to type=”asdf” (or whatever text you want).
